Microscopic - 2024

This experimental work was developed during an artist exchange with Tiziana Chiara, supported by the World Crafts Council Europe and facilitated by the Glass Society of Ireland in collaboration with its Spanish counterpart ACAV. Made in Dublin over the summer of 2024, the piece takes its form from imagery of microscopic sea life, translating hidden marine structures into glass through an intuitive, process-led approach. Incorporating stained glass, glass painting, ceramic decals and flameworked 3D glass.
