Mother of Keys - 2025

Mother of Keys is the second panel in the Our Lady on the rock series, a tongue-in-cheek stained glass work reimagining Dublin’s iconic “Lady on the Rock” as a housing goddess. In this panel, she faces us directly, her hand outstretched as keys tumble from her palm, offering us an answer to our prayers and the hope of a home of our own. The work blends humour, ritual, and myth to reflect the absurdity and urgency of the housing crisis while inviting audiences to engage with the everyday anxieties and desires tied to home, belonging, and security.
